KFS MD, Paul Hackett, appears on BBC1’s Crimewatch Roadshow demonstrating RapidHIT DNA

This morning Paul Hackett, KFS MD, was interviewed live in the studio of BB1’s Crimewatch Roadshow on the benefits of RapidHIT DNA testing. During the live broadcast there was a demonstration of a mock crime scene using the RapidHIT DNA testing instrument that delivered a matching profile in just over two hours.

Paul highlighted the time and logistical benefits the testing technology offers police forces when investigating crimes and requiring DNA profiling for evidence. “We have taken the entire end to end DNA process that is usually done by lots of people, using lots of equipment in a laboratory and condensed it into this device.” commented Paul.

Take a look at the interview here on the iPlayer. The interview takes place approximately 33:30mins into the programme.
