Fraser undertakes all aspects of Drugs work and specialises in the interpretation of the results of comparisons of drugs materials and the packaging used to contain them.
Fraser has combined reporting of Drugs cases with management and advisory responsibilities; he has been a Drugs team leader and a national advisor overseeing the quality of delivery from Drugs teams at six different sites. He has written many training plans for staff and coached and assessed candidates for all areas of Drugs work including provision of evidence in court; he has recently been heavily involved in the definition and implementation of standards and competencies for Drugs work.
Fraser is a scene-going scientist who has attended many scenes including those involving the commercial scale cultivation of cannabis plants, the preparation of drugs materials for large scale distribution and the production of illicit drugs in clandestine laboratories. He has attended court and provided testimony on many occasions.
