Forensic Services For the Defence

Key Forensic Services is one of the leading forensic service providers in the UK, offering a wide range of forensic expert witness services to our criminal and civil litigation customers.

Why use us?

We achieve our goals by fully understanding our customers’ requirements and the need to provide forensic effectiveness, unquestionable integrity and value for money, while maintaining the very highest-quality standards at all times.

We have made a significant investment in our own well-equipped, secure, state-of-the-art forensic laboratories in Coventry, Warrington & Norwich.

These facilities are among the best in the country and include a purpose-built firing range (with test-firing tanks) and self-contained laboratories to enable crime scene reconstruction, including Blood Pattern Analysis.

Many of our forensic expert witnesses are leaders in their specialist fields and have more than 20 years’ experience in challenging prosecution cases and presenting forensic defence evidence to the courts

As well as our forensic expert witness services, we also provide a full suite of routine and specialist DNA services, including Legal (court-directed) and Immigration relationship testing.

Our laboratories have well-equipped search-and-recovery facilities, allowing our defence scientists to undertake detailed examinations of exhibits, using high-power microscopy and other techniques to maximise the opportunity to recover evidential material.

This is supported by a wide range of analytical techniques used to aid the detection and identification of, for example drugs, fibres and glass.

The interpretation and reporting of findings is carried out by our forensic defence experts to the highest possible standards, with peer review forming an important part of the process.

Where to find us

Our laboratories are strategically located in Coventry, Warrington, Norwich & Bristol within easy access of the motorway networks.
