Establish identity and quantity of commonly encountered controlled drugs and/or traces and associated additives and confirmation of their legal status.

Links between samples of drugs from different locations are investigated using both chemical techniques and physical methods, such as packaging comparison. Our Drugs examiners also investigate premises suspected of being used for cannabis cultivation, to assess the viability of the set-up and to estimate the likely yield.
