CHAIRMAN Currently Chairman or Director of several limited companies and major PLCs in the sphere of technology and security. Lord Dear was previously HM Inspector of Constabulary with a national responsibility for crime and criminal investigation, Chief Constable of one of the largest police forces in the country ( West Midlands ) and Assistant Commissionerof The Metropolitan Police, with operational responsibility throughout London. CEO / MANAGING DIRECTOR Mike has held various Accountancy (Finance, Costing and Management Accounting posts) and Company Secretarial positions for over 18 years. Operated at Financial Director & Group FD level and headed up several companies in the private sector, experience with three large PLCs, and a host of small to medium size companies including Greenfield Start-ups.Public sector experience with over 9 years with the The Home Office Forensic Science Service. Positions held included Commercial Manager and Head of Procurement to 2001. FORENSIC DIRECTOR Roger joined Key Forensic after 25 years with the Home Office Forensic Science Service, where he was responsible for the design and delivery of integrated forensic science services to a number of national and regional police forces. He has also held senior management positions in forensic research and quality management. During this time he has led several successful, cross-functional projects to deliver process improvements and business change. Roger is an experienced expert witness with a wide knowledge of forensic casework and its role in the Criminal Justice System. He is also the author of a number of scientific papers and articles. OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Paul joined Key Forensic at the end of 2008. Prior to that he was Director of Forensics and Applied Genetics for Eurofins.Before his role at Eurofins, Paul enjoyed a hugely varied career of 17 years duration with the Forensic Science Service. His many roles there ranged from hands-on operational ones to Regional General Manager, Business Development and latterly Head of national DNA Operations. NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Has operated as a forensic scientist for over 30 years, working in and running numerous laboratories in the UK. Originally joined the Metropolitan Police Laboratory and had a distinguished career in various fields within Biology and acting as a worldwide expert witness. A distinguished and recognised leader who is well-known in this scientific sector. HEAD OF SALES & MARKETING With more than 10 years experience in the forensic marketplace in both the DNA and commercial business disciplines, Zoe is responsible for the Sales & Marketing Department, developing the strategic approach to establishing and maintaining new and existing customers. This is achieved by ensuring the customer requirements are fully understood by working in partnership to deliver forensic excellence
