Key Forensic Services Ltd (KFS) has accreditation to ISO 17025:2005 for the forensic examination of and reporting of findings for Mobile Phones, Footwear, Glass, Drugs, Fibres and Gunshot Residue. We have been recommended for accreditation to ISO 17025 for Alcohol analysis. We are awaiting UKAS visits for additional extensions to scope for Firearms and Paint. We have an extensive method development and validation program designed to achieve additional extensions to scope to ISO 17025.

Forensic DNA Services (FDS) is the sister company of KFS, set up and developed by KFS specifically to undertake KFS DNA work. FDS has accreditation to ISO 17025:2005 for the forensic examination of and reporting of findings for body fluids, loading profiles to the National DNA Database (NDNAD), extraction, quantification, amplification, separation and analysis of DNA for profiling. FDS is also accredited to undertake low mass template DNA profiling.
